Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools and Orange County Schools have over $260 million of unfunded school repair and maintenance needs.

Students are in decades-old buildings with limited access for those with disabilities, unreliable heating and cooling systems, flooding when it rains, and mold, mildew, air quality and foundation problems.
